Life skills for Leaders is the result of working with the captains
of industry over many years to determine what is required to
become a successful leader. We have developed this extraordinary
programme which has been enjoyed by many of the UK’s leading
organisations. It is an experience which delivers unique results.
In the complex world of 21st Century business, effective management
is more than an accumulation of models and techniques. Each
individual manager must learn to display the rights skills and
behaviours to be an effective leader.
To achieve this we have developed a unique programme which will
explore the behaviour, attitude and skills required in each
individual. The discipline we will use to explore the above
will be, Four Keys to Success:
| |
| |
We will
first explore - What is an outcome? How is it determined?
How do we achieve it? With the complexities of the business
world today it is vital that leaders choose, challenge
and own their outcomes. Organisations often engage in
action without first clarifying their outcome. |
| |
| |
What is
the action we need to take to ensure we are moving towards
the chosen outcome? Taking note at all times of whether
the action taken is working towards or away from the outcome
wanted. |

Sensory
Acuity is the ability of each individual to recognise
the signals which indicate that the action is working
or not working. Without a sound knowledge of sensory acuity
leaders often engage in the same action time and time
again with an expectation of achieving a different result. |
| |
| |
Behavioural
Flexibility is the ability to engage in the behaviour
required to achieve the outcome. Recognising therefore,
that one may need to adopt a different behaviour to achieve
the outcome. |

| This initial two day session provides
the foundation for the remainder of the programme which
is typically an additional four days. The content is driven
by the issues and required outcomes for each group, making
it a truly unique experience for the group and the organisation. |
